Finally, there is a para-church ministry helping pastors address the issue of sexual purity without also requiring the pastor to take the lead!

You already know that most men in the church struggle with purity and many are trapped in bondage to sexual sins. (See statistics.) But what can you do about it? You cannot meet with every man, and besides, many men are too ashamed to meet with a pastor.

That's where we come in. Proven Men Ministries is dedicated to equipping the church to be a shining light, bringing hope and healing not only to those presently within your congregation, but to meet the great need of your local community. Our equipping, however, does not require the head pastor to run the show or even attend a single meeting.

Instead, we have put together a complete package. Each man from your church that is ready to do business with purity works through an intensive 12-week Bible-based workbook. Once a week they meet together in a small support group. Our comprehensive Leader's Guide is so detailed that any trusted man from your church can pick it up and hold 12 weekly meetings. All you need to do is two simple things.

First, foster a non-judgmental and safe atmosphere for healing to take place. That means openly discussing purity and demonstrating that the church as a safe place for men to experience support and freedom. This includes mentioning the formation of Proven Men meetings from the pulpit. (If you do not support it, they won't feel safe to attend.)

Second, allow a trusted man to lead small support groups. Look for a man with a burden to see men's lives changed and ask them to check out our materials and consider leading a small support group Then turn it over to him. You do not need to run the show or even be involved in any planning or meetings.
